On the Classic of Ubud Tour, you will begin your day with a drive to the unique temple of Gunung Kawi. Set amidst lush rice terraces,  these 11th century temples feature 10 rock-cut Candi (shrines) carved into the cliff face. They stand at seven metres tall and combine ancient Hindu and Buddhist temple attributes. Proceed to the terraced Tegallalang rice fields then explore the Sacred Monkey Forest, featuring three ancient Hindu temples, jungle-covered  pathways lined with mysterious statues and several groups of cheeky, indigenous macaques.

In the Ubud Central Tour, you’ll get a true taste of the local culture, customs and lifestyles with an interactive day tour to Mas Village  Ubud. Reached by a drive through rice paddies and farms typical of the region, Mas is a small village steeped in tradition and an opportunity to see the traditional Balinese way of life.

Bali (Karangasem)

Accommodation: Amankila (3 nights)

Tour: The East of Bali & Cycling or Trekking tour in the unspoiled Eastern region of Bali

From its stunning entrance resembling a gateway to heaven, panoramic views open up to display the summits of nearby Mount Agung all the way down to the beautiful east coast of Bali. Embark on a 2.5-hour uphill hike on a trail hidden by grasslands and pandan forests. Be rewarded with breathtaking views while enjoying tea or coffee and Balinese snacks served at 1,058 metres above sea level.

On your cycle or trekking tour, pass through the villages of old Bali where you may well stumble across traditional Balinese festivals, or climb to the top of Mount Batur to watch the sunrise over Mount Agung and Mount Abang.

Around midday, transfer out of town to the UNESCO Heritage Prambanan temples. Along the way stop for lunch, enjoying a short demonstration of Javanese puppetry while dining on local dishes.
